The purpose of this programme is to assist managers with understanding Diversity and to equip them with tools to manage diversity in the workplace.
The SA Legal Framework in relation to diversity is covered and the global perspective on Diversity is explained to provide a better understanding of a person’s own view on Diversity.
To manage a team more effectively, stereotypes and prejudices as well as the generation gap needs to be understood.
Emotional intelligence and cross-cultural dialogue becomes important skills for managers

To be able to see the relevance of Cultural Intelligence in one’s life and workplace we need to be able to understand our own current cultural intelligence and awareness levels. Practical tools to reduce conflict and misunderstanding, cross cultural and inter cultural dialogue and conversations need to be developed.
Team and individual performance can be enhanced by building positive intercultural relationships
