E-Learning via Multi-Media

The e-learning market is now more than 16 years old (the word “e-learning” was coined in 1998).
As it has been scientifically proven that “no significant difference can be found no matter what medium is used for learning”, Russell (1999), e-learning provides several advantages over face to face learning including more economical, stimulating as the candidate assumes a more active role, less disrupting to business and immediate benefits to individual such as increased time on task, and reduced test anxiety for many.
We, at Growth in Motion, have a dedicated and passionate team of e-learning developers.
Our speciality is to assess, understand and interpret content within the financial services environment and provide bespoke turnkey e-learning solutions to our clients.
Growth in Motion is able to mix and match various methods of e-learning to suite your need; this includes integrating content into corporate e-learning LMS (Scorm 1.2 Compliant) and advising on LMS’s or creating offline content for disc or cloud based sharing.

Watch our Showcase of  “Theory” Videos

Taking any theory content and translating it into video material is not only an art, but a skill. We can provide a quality range of video productions, from the more basic (with or without narration), through to more detailed and complex professional type of video animations.  For more info about design in motion please contact us TODAY

Learning Theory using our Practical Showcase

Learners recall just 10% of what they read and 20% of what they hear. If there are visuals accompanying an oral presentation, the number rises to 30%, and if they observe someone carrying out an action while explaining it, 50%. But learners remember 90% “if they do the job themselves, even if only as a simulation.
Phase 1 – Theory ‘reactive’ stage
This can be delivered via video, printed material, flash magazines of various qualities or face to face training.
Phase 2 – Pro-Active stage
In e-learning terms this directly relates to well designed, scripted and planned interactions that not only summarise but incorporate a variation of interactive methodologies to keep the employee or ‘student’ engaged and ‘on their toes.’
Phase 3 – Assessment

Check out the System Showcase

Just as the theory videos benefit from a practical interactive element to the training, any system or software video training greatly increase its effectiveness through the use of what we call ‘software or system simulations’.
Growth in Motion’s developers have the ability and experience to break down the software in manageable portions, understand it and translate it into a professional, fun and stimulating simulation that will effectively give any end user a hands-on approach to mastering any element of any piece of software or system.

Let us create your digital magazine for staff or learners

Growth in Motion is capable of creating an array of digital magazines, from the very simple to the exceptionally polished and professional.
The cost consideration however, has to be taken into account when choosing the level of magazine quality.

We do “Gamification”

Gamification is a loosely used word in the e-learning world and a large degree of ‘interactions’ that Growth in Motion developers already produce, are in the form of games or practical walk throughs.
Growth in Motion has the ability to create simple multiple choice fun games, that can be used as pre-testing interaction to give the employee or learner the ability to test their knowledge without feeling like they are writing an exam or completing an assessment.

Exam – design in motion

The final type of development that Growth in Motion e-learning applications can incorporate, is the final assessment or exam. There are many ways in which exams can be handled, and this demo is merely a small example.
We believe that at the assessment stage of e-learning, a no-frills approach, is most effective.  Growth in Motion can track learner performance throughout the application, both at the interactive stage and at the assessment stage.

Technical Interpretations

Technical interpretation is an application that is rarely found in the industry. In this case, we are able to take a static snapshot of any technical requirement, and piece it together in a Flash file to include explanations or interpretations, and finally, convert it into video format.
